General Shipping Information

In-stock orders we normally ship within 24-48 hours after cleared payment is received, excluding weekends and public holidays.


All packages are send via Thailand Post. For all international orders, you can choose between Standard Airmail (between 7-21 business days approximately) and Expedited Airmail (between 5-7 business days approximately). All orders include a tracking number. You will receive an e-mail with a tracking number when your order ships. You can view your order status and tracking number through Thailand Post

Please note that we currenlty don't offer Standard Airmail to Luxembourg and Germany. For these countries we offer Expedited Airmail. For further questions please contact us.

 

How much is shipping?

It depends on what you are ordering, how much you are ordering, and where it will be shipped to. You can determine the costs of shipping your order by adding the items you want to the shopping cart and entering your zip code or country in the Shipping Estimator on the cart page. You can also get the shipping cost during checkout - you will need to fill out your shipping address in order to view the shipping options and cost.
 
We will deliver to the shipping address that you specify. However, additional charges may apply if the package is redirected, an address is incomplete (except for zip code) or the wrong shipping sector was entered at the time of order. We are not responsible for shipping charges for packages returned due to missing or wrong information, with the exception of zip codes which we offer to provide on your behalf.

 

Do you ship outside Thailand?

Absolutely! 99% of orders by our clients are being shipped to Europe, US and Australia. After placing items in your shopping cart, proceed to the checkout area. Complete the Shipping and Billing information, including selecting your country. We have chosen Thailand Post as the carrier for our International orders. They offer reasonable shipping rates and fast delivery of shipments.

 

Will I have to pay customs fees on my order?

It’s is possible that your order will be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. Unfortunately, ThaiGroceryStore.com has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.
 
Please note that the shipping charges you pay to ThaiGroceryStore.com do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to ThaiGroceryStore.com and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.
 
It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before you order!

 

Can I get a refund for shipping delays?

We are not responsible for any shipping delays. It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over delays with our various carriers. Once your order has been processed, we are not responsible for delays once it leaves our facilities. Refunds will not be issued on orders that are delayed.

Can I choose for urgent shipping?

Yes, if you have urgent shipping needs or a deadline, please contact us to enquire about DHL, FedEx, UPS and EMS shipping. We will advise you which shipping method to use and whether we can deliver your order(s) on time.

 

What does Surface Mail means?

Normally we opt for the fastest shipping method. However liquid products (e.g. shampoo, drinks, gel) are not aloud to ship with airmail (both Expedit and Standard). Therefore we offer Surface Mail where the package will tranfers per land and boat. This normally takes around 8 weeks.

 

How come I cannot choose Surface Mail all the time?

This shipping method takes a while to arrive (around 8 weeks) and is not always cheaper than for example Standard Airmail. The option to choose Surface Mail will only apear when you have a liquid product in your shopping cart.

 

When choosing a shipping method how come Standard Airmail is more expensive than Expedit Airmail?

Normally Standard Airmail is cheaper than Expedit Airmail. However sometimes it happens that a country hasn't got Standard Airmail available for smaller packages (i.e. packages under 2 kilogram). In that case it's cheaper to choose Expedit Airmail. Please note when ordering over 2 or more kilogram Standard Airmail can become cheaper again than Expedit Airmail.

 

Can I import this candy/drink/caffeine/ product into my country?

Every country's import and customs laws vary, so you will have to check with your local customs office before ordering to make sure you will be able to import your goodies. Many countries consider caffeine a controlled substance, so proceed with caution when ordering these products.

 

What does the Order Status and/or Product Status mean?

This indicates the current status of your order, or of each item within your order. There are several statuses:

  • Pending - Your order has been accepted and will be processed after we receive cleared payment.
  • Processing - Your order has been transmitted to the packing/shipping department (or one of our distributors), and our staff are gathering all of your products and preparing them to be shipped. (Note that your order could remain in this state for several days.)
  • Shipped - Your order has been fully shipped. Your PayPal account has been fully charged at this point.
  • Canceled - Your order has been canceled. If it was billed, we have issued a proper refund which should appear on your next statement.
  • Refunded - Your order has been canceled and your payment has been refunded
